Statue Sideshow-Weta Berserker Bust

Got a wild hair the other day and decided to pick this one up. Never had this before and something about it finally got me to pull the trigger. I didn't see a thread for this so I thought I'd start one and share some pics.

It looks very nice Josh! Congrats on getting this awesome bust, it's quite rare isn't it? I don't have this particular bust though; I have a few of the other SSW busts. I love these busts! They're very detailed! I hope that Weta or SS will release some The Hobbit busts. Where did you get it from?

Yeah, its really well done. Thank ya! It does seem to be rarer than I remember it being but its been a while since this was out originally. I just bid on it for giggles and won. I've had a few others but they've come and gone for different reasons (dumb girl) Well, I'd say The Hobbit busts are going to be from only Gentle Giant. Got it on ebay from somebody in Wisconsin.

Although it's a nice bust, I always had a problem with it because of where I had my busts displayed. Since they were on an upper shelf you couldn't get a good look at the face and helmet. This one is better displayed on a lower shelf.

Had it, love it, but sold it. For my money, the Berserker Uruk-hais are the best designed baddies by Weta, even with the minimalism. Really missed my Berserker display of the SSW Berserker (hi Josh!), the Berserker bust, and the ultimate, the Uruk-Hai Berserker PF.

The head does present some display options. It's one that needs a mid to low shelf display. Having said that its a really nice bust.

Yeah, the Bersekers are pretty darn cool. I got this for $85 which seemed like a good deal and figured it would look good with the statue (thank you )

Congratz!! It's a very good bust...now, if you can take the other three uruk busts that will be perfect!!!

Thanks! It is. I'm really glad I finally got it. I may in the future grab some of the other Uruk busts. I do have the Ugluk statue on the way back into the collection and Helm's Deep as well.

I figured I'd share an old SSW item. I have some I need to take pics of and update the old pics I have. Maybe I'll do that when a couple of my new/old additions come in. If you can find this for $85 like I did I'd grab it for sure.
