This was the first statue I ever placed an order for back in December of 2003. So the King Elessar statue is what started me down the path of getting high-end statues representing Middle-earth.

I took this photo in November of 2004. This was with a old not so great digital camera and about when I started sharing photos.

The sculpts and paints have come a long way since then. The armor looks really good.

These statues still look amazing but it is also amazing the improvement in sculpting by both companies since this line came out.

Elessar is one of those pieces that looks great in a group shot or on its own but it is easy to see the mass produced touches if you look for them. Great piece for me
