Statue Sideshow-Weta Uruk-hai Swordsman Bust

Got this on ebay. The one flap was cracked and fixed which is fine because I got it pretty darn cheap.

I have this bust as well. Weta did an excellent job with the Uruks and Orc busts. In fact, I think all of the "baddies" in this line were very good, including Saruman and Grima. I ended up keeping just the baddies and selling off the good guys.

Gollum is one of my favorite busts in the collection. His hand grasping the base is pretty cool.

They did nail the Orcs and Uruks. They really stand up to the paint/detail all these years later. I'm eyeing a Saruman right now on eBay to add to the collection.

Yeah, it's got some good detail. The only thing I'd change about this one is the angle of the head.

Thanks! I was pretty pleased with how all my pics came out last weekend. I'm glad you all are liking them. Lurtz is awesome! So glad. I was able to score that one a whole back, because as you said he doesn't come around very often.

I have. I've just been lucky and been able to watch and strike on auctions that have allowed me to get them at a good price. Right now I'm working on trying to get Saruman (bust), The Watcher in the Water, and the UC shards of Narsil (mini) for a fair price for each. Basically I'm finding good sellers on eBay to work with.

Just to be clear, you don't care for the dynamic Sideshow statue poses but dynamic Weta busts are ok? Just checking.

It doesn't have over-the-top swirling robes But Uruk-Hai ar allowed to look fearsome and dynamic.
