SIDESHOW PANEL & Q&A - in Room 32AB of the Convention Center!

Anyone attend and what new info was revealed?

No, I don't believe there was anything new show as the videos we were shown were up on the site a day before the panel. It seemed to run really short though, we saw the vids then got a short Q&A and then it was done. Some lucky souls won a Hulkbuster and Silver Surfer Comi, Jedi Luke and Yoda/Clone PFs. Very awesome on Sideshow's part to give out HUGE prizes like that though just for showing up.

Yeah, Q&A was like 2-3 people, done. lol.

What was cool was that they gave away the SW stuff to people who came in dressed up as their favorite SW characters.

Huh? Did I miss something? They gave away four items to people who had stars on the little flyer they passed out at the beginning of the panel: a Jedi Luke PF, a Clone Trooper/Yoda PF, a Hulkbuster Com, and a Silver Surfer com. Here is a copy of a paste I put in the Marvel thread:

I was at the panel but they only had enough time to answer 4-5 questions and there was a long line of people waiting to ask. There was a Halo panel after the Sideshow panel, so the room was packed to the brim.

Here is what I remember of the questions asked:
  1. What is your "grail" property? Clint Eastwood westerns or Bladerunner
  2. What was the most difficult piece you have had to make? Optimus Prime
  3. Will the statue be based off Mass Effect 1 or 2? Mass Effect 2
  4. What is the future of the Indiana Jones 12" line? Alot is in the works including several characters from Temple of Doom.

Maybe you didn't comprehend? What was cool was that they gave away the SW stuff to people who came in dressed up as their favorite SW characters.

Line of people was like 7. Still, was Halo that big to where the SS panel needed to be cut short. Then again, the line was massive for it.

Maybe I don't comprehend, maybe sarcasm, but I didn't see anyone dressed up in the room like Star Wars characters? :dunno

They gave Marvel stuff away after the Marvel video and Star Wars stuff away after the Star Wars video. /clueless...

I hope someone will post a log of the Q/A Panel.. Were Dusty there in the meeting?

Oh, maybe you were in the front? I was in the back, heh. All the SW giveaways seemed to go to SW cosplay. I think even Chris said "girl in the padme costume" (yoda/clone?)

Hm, perhaps we are getting panels mixed up? The prizes in the Sideshow panel went to random people with stars on their postcards. There was no one in a costume that won. I took everyone's info, so you can trust me :)

But Brant did give out prizes in the Star Wars collecting panel (whenever that was). I wasn't in that one, so I don't know who won in there.

Kibishii's summary of answers was pretty nicely done, couldn't do it better (other than I think B may have said something about a 'surprise' for the Indy 12-inch, and new items are a little ways off... and Brock said Blade Runner and Clint Eastwood were pretty much pipe dreams at this point because of licensing) :duff
