I may be in the minority but I'm slightly disappointed in the pose. I was hoping for something more similar to the Bowen Museum Pose

Not interested in the character, but seeing how the SS is very popular, this will be a big sell out piece for them...

The "running through the flowers field" pose could have been handled a lot better. I think people get the "speed" from the Bowen action pose but they want the "power" riding Surfer with a larger comiquette.

This will be a HUGE seller regardless. Especially if they chrome it.

Nicely put. Its subjective, but the character (to me) has ultimate freedom. Roaming the cosmos, answering to no one, etc (until recently in the books). With that said, the open pose makes sense.

This is the Silver Surfer though--any pose would fit the character. Marvel has done a great job in writing him.

I honestly don't think there are a whole lot of poses they could do. Sculptors NEVER want to look like they are copying another pose, so they always go out of their way to create something unique and original. Bowen's Surfers are the PERFECT action and museum poses. I think most companies are going to have a hard time outdoing those two.

That said, this could be brilliant. It looks like they're headed in the "I roam the cosmos unfettered" type of majestic pose, and I think it will look fantastic.

The LSB line is funny like that. You got exclusives sitting on second chance with gift cards.
