I know I'm probably opening myself to all sorts of comments here but... Any freaks here into Singstar?

I simply cannot get enough of this game. An update was just released which introduces achievements (if you're into that sort of thing), they updated the US Singstore (it actually works now), made some community changes, and will have voice control available in the US tomorrow.

I know the target audience for this game is gay European men who like to wear wigs, but I thought I'd stick my neck out here to see if anybody would be interested in starting a SSF community.

I love Singstar. I got hooked with Rocks, 80's, and 90's on the PS2. It really is a lot of fun and I'm not ashamed of playing it.

I bought Singstar for P23 the day it came out. I really wish we could get some Phil Collins or Genesis on there, though. I want to sing Easy Lover all night.

And Boba Ben is right, that dude is awesome. The videos posted to the community range everywhere from those like that dude, to french girls doing the sexy sexy in a variety of revealing outfits, to legitimately great singers, to stormtroopers and Chewbacca dancing to the Scissor Sisters, to stop motion animation.

It really is amazing and I'm surprised it hasn't taken off in the US the way it has abroad. All you need is friends and booze.

Sony was having some Demo of the latest Singstar game in this Mall, and had a stage where you would sing against another person in front of a crowd. My sister Dared me to sing up there with her, and I said as long as I get to pick the music ill do it. Man I was nervous as hell making a fool of myself in front all those ppl, but We sang "Beverly Hills" from Weezer, and actually got one the highest scores that day according to the Sony rep. Was fun.

I'm too shy! I have a lot of fun playing the game, but I do fear the ridicule from online critics if I post my singing for the whole world to see. You've really got to respect that netcasty guy.

I'm thinking about it! I don't own a camera (my friend has one, but I will soon own my own) so no video... yet. I'll try to lay down some audio tonight, we'll see how it goes.

Sweet! That's going to be my next Singstar purchase. Though I was thinking of saving some money and getting the PS2 version since you can load PS2 songs with the PS3 version of Singstar. I hear there are some exclusive backgrounds and songs for the PS3 version though...

Ive seen Singstar ABBA for PS3 on clearance at Targets all over the place, they dont seem to be moving. They currently have them for $10.
