Figured I'd start a thread to showcase my customs as I complete them.

First up is Bishop from Aliens that I completed today after many long hours work. I still have clear dog tags to make and more futzing to do but I'm pretty happy how he turned out.

Awesome figure! did you hand sculpt or use a program and then 3d printing?

also where di you get the clothes?

I can't take credit for the sculpt. Its from Snyderman who I think hand-sculpted it.

Before painting and hair...


I found the jump suit on evilbay which I soaked in isopropyl to get rid of the emblems. After unstitching most of the seams I made changes like adding light blue fabric lining for the arms, removed collar and most pockets, added arms straps, etc.

The shoes are evilbay nike shoes that I puttied and sanded to remove the logos. I then added canvas straps and slowly built up the design with more putty and sanding until finally painting.

Thanks Peter. All because of an awesome sculpt!

I learned in a recent tv episode he has pointy ears and slightly raised frontal bone so going to attempt modifying them myself with some green stuff.

Mods done, next up paint. Never done eyes before so this will be interesting.

Mods look good SDS, the ears and forehead where obscured in the ref pics because of the hood, looking forward to seeing him finished.
