Slender: The Arrival Is Coming to Wii U, Xbox One, and PS4
24 Oct 2014
By David Witmer

According to a new rating on PEGI, Slender: The Arrival will be coming out for the Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One.

Back in September, the survival horror game was released digitally on Xbox 360 and PS3, suggesting we'll probably see a release on the respective digital marketplaces of the three now-gen consoles. Those console releases also saw new story content which was later released as DLC on the PC. It seems likely the new versions will also see these elements included.

We thought Slender: The Arrival was impressive and delivered a powerful horror experience, but found it bogged down by repetition, filler, and unfair enemies. Read our full written review for more details.

I forgot that I impulsively bought this for the 360 a few weeks ago. I guess I should play it before the Evil Within. If I knew it would be out on next gen, I would have waited.

I don't think it was advertised that well. I was out of town and saw a mention of it so I ordered it through xbox.com. I forgot I did that. :lol

this game is quite frustrating, last thing i like about any survivor horror game is some stupid time limit or some god-like enemy keeps stalking you, yes it adds alot of tension but for 1st timers you usually get beaten as many times as people playing dark souls 2.

especially the 2nd stage where you have to find all the notes in the *******n woods just to proceed to the next level. i really hate games that require you to collect things like needle in a haystack, some people like the challenge, some do it just for the trophies, but not me, i hate trying to find tiny mission essential items with time limits or invincible stalkers.

i hate silent hill 4 for that reason, the ghost and that psycho stalker. ruins the mood to explore and get immersed in the settings.

Nemesis was bad, but at least you have a 20% chance of beating him up.
