My exclusive Samaritan came in with a broken lever that releases the chamber. Sideshow asked me to destroy it and send pictures, and they would send a replacement gun only... I keep the base, back, bullets, etc.

So my first time having to destroy a Sideshow piece... :monkey2 :D

Sometimes, I think it might be fun to buy something expensive from Sideshow and have it arrive damaged, just so I can smash it.

With my luck they'd say, "just send it back, we'll get you a new one" and I'd say "can I send it back to you smashed??"

So much for the "hand crafted dense metal". What I see here reminds me intensely of the toy cap guns I used to have, playing 'cowboys & indians'. You know, the colts sold for 5$ at the toy shop.

If you took these apart, the result looked pretty similar.
$400...

But it is not quite what it appears! This thing was solid and took some heavy blows to take apart. If you look carefully, you will see that most of the metal pieces didn't actually break, but came apart after glue, etc was broken. The main barrel only has small scratches have several blows with the hammer.

I guess thats the battle damage version

You should have made a Lonnievision and showed us how you did it lol, you must have had to hit that thing pretty damn hard good job :rock

Thats so cringe worthy its unreal, good job though. I hope your new 1 is all nice n shiny, and do remember u wont have to smash it with a hammer, resist the urge resist....
