So Gort's Bio was made for the Original Predator?!

I did notice that in the Winston effect book. Have never heard the name Gort before either, always thought it was Celtic's mask

I always thought the name originated from an old model kit made by a company called Gort. They made a kit with that mask long ago. And I'm sure the company got the name from Gort of The Day the Earth Stood Still, since I believe they were dealers of classic sci-fi stuff.

I believe it is called “Gort” because of a resin “garage kit” manufacturer by the name of “Gort.” A 1/9 scale (approximate) predator kit was produced that had a variety of predator mask choices. Some pictures are here:

Gort's bio was my favorite in P2. It was what made me really like Celtic's bio. Really out of the box style. I really want a Gort Bio for my original HT P2 to have him pose with my Lostie and elder and BD P2. Hate repeats on my shelves. Maybe that's why I ave yet to assemble my Cleaner. I want to make a hybrid of the 2 wolves. A double cannoned cleaner kit and spear carrying wolf. I that possible to Mod?

lol. ALL the Lost Hunters are just rehashed P2's with different paint jobs and minor differences in Armor. Even the Elder is just a modified P1.

Yup. People on here have done it. Including Les. He just didn't use the spear-in-hand.

yeah, duh. but the gort doesn't even look like they even bothered to repaint it. from the pics you posted, anyway.
the hardest one to make would be the borg. so, luckily that's already been done.
now i'm just pissed because of all the P2 figures i'm gonna have to buy... wonder if i can get those in bulk.

yeah, I had that kit until Hot Toys came around, then I sold it on eBay. I still have all the little Lost helmets the P2 kit came with.

The Winston team felt this helmet looked too much like a face itself.

Here is a resin cast of the Gort Helmet in 1/6. I think somebody made this a while back to customize the old 1/6 Argnuats kits. I've been hanging on to this since the early 90's. I'm still hesitant to bash this guy since Hot Toys could easily do it still. I would love it if they made the whole clan.
