So...How will you be displaying your Anakins

I think I'll have my Jedi Ani battling Obi-wan, leaving my Sith Ani to stand with his hood up and his unignited saber in hand.
Now that I think about it, all the Jedi have a 'force wield' left hand, which makes me want to pose Obi and Ani trying to throw a force wave at each other.
I can't wait for these to come out!

They will be side by side and then on Jedi Anakins side will be the rest of the 12" Jedi and on Sith Anakins side will be the rest of the Sith 12". They will be on a glass/metal table and then I will order a large Acrylic cover for it.

Anakin Skywalker: Probably in some type of heroic battle pose. I'll either use a publicity shot, or I'll cycle through the DVD and find something from the Battle of Coruscant.

Darth Vader: I'm going to modify the shot where you see his Sith eyes (the famous shot from the teaser trailer). He'll be standing like that, but I'll have the gloveless robotic hand posed like the image below (minus his human hand underneath the elbow...that'll stay at his side).

I don't know why but I've been thinking about this. It has become a complicated issue: who wears the cloak, who gets the robotic arm, etc? For me, it depends on which direction the Sith eyes are looking. I'd like to pose "Vader" on the base, standing in that cocky way, ready to cut down Ob-Wan. That leaves Anakin to be cloaked like the Temple scene.

But then, do I really want 2 bad Anakins?

Here's what I've decided for now:

Anakin: no cloak, heroic pose, with mechanical arm exposed (got to use that arm somehow even if its hardly in the movie).

Vader: cloaked Sith eyes pose, saber in right hand, holo-Sidious in the other, standing on lava droid base just for fun.

Neither of these poses is movie accurate but it captures the essence of each side of his character. Plus, I maximize all the extra items and both forms of Anakin.

Anakin will be with OB1 facing Dooku, while Darth will prolly be left in the box unless I get another OB1 to face him.

I haven't thought of how I will pose my Jeid Anakin yet. I'll have to think about that one some more and maybe look at some film stills. The Vader figure I'll pose like this:

I'm not sure yet, tempted to use the droid base for Vader from the duel, but the scene where he enters the temple is just so evil and cool it will probably win out. As for Anakin, he'll probably be on a shelf with the rest of the Jedi Order figures... fully cloaked, lightsabers ignited.

Does anyone know if Vader will be coming with a regular base, or is it just the droid one?

right now, they will all be kept in the box until i get a house. Theoritically if I have a house, I will pose the jedis in one side and the sith on the other looking at each other and maybe change it up every other month. :chew

I'm not getting the Jedi one but the Sith version will initially be posed dueling with Obi-Wan. Alternatively if Sideshow release a 501st Clone Trooper I may be tempted to buy a couple to pose either either side of him.

I'm still hoping I can get a Jedi Anakin without resorting to eBay prices, but I don't think I could pose him as an evil character, since at that point he was not yet wholly evil. He was... conflicted. ;)

Jedi Annie will be posed hero-style next to Obi-Wan, the best of friends and comrades in arms. No robe (or robe with hood down), reg arm, ligthsaber ignited.

Sith Annie is stand-alone with robe (hood up), on his base, lightsaber ignited, staring at his bare robotic arm. If I can, I might put the holo-Sidious in the robot hand.

So what about the Heroes of the Rebellion, military figures, or everyone else (smugglers, bounty hunters, etc.)? Caught in the middle perhaps?

Yeah, this is a toughie... I think that I'll do like I normally do things.. I change them constantly.

But to start out..

Regular Anakin: I'll probably put him and Obi Wan back to back in some heroic pose, maybe something like the first image of them together in Clone Wars Vol 2. Just something to show them as good friends and a solid combat team. I'll probably have the cloaks on, but no hoods...

Darth Vader:As for Evil Anakin.. once he arrives, I'll probably have to pit him against Obi Wan for a little while, switching the stances from time to time. I really want to recreate the "Force Push standoff" at least once, and maybe try and freeze frame a really intense part of the fight and see if I can replicate it. I'm sure that later, once I am bored with that... He'll end up alone with his hood up, maybe recreate that famous trailer image.

Either way, I am sooo looking forward to having him on my shelf. It's gonna be sweet! Makes me wish I had 2 Obi-Wans!! :monkey5

I think I will pose Jedi Ani with OB1 as friends, perhaps fighting Dooku in the future. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I was so excited about seeing Ani turn to Vader in the movie. After the first 20 minutes though, I didn't want it to happen. I could have watched another whole movie of Ani and OB1 fighting side by side.

Vader I will pose in the entrace to the temple stance with robe and unlit saber...that is until I have a Sidious that he can bow to.

I'm doing my Jedi Anakin with Dooku kneeling before him, with Anakin holding Dooku and his own lightsaber crossed at Dooku's neck. Hard to describe, but then who doesn't know what scene I am talking about?

Sith Anakin (if I keep him [still debating horrible I know!]) will be posed from the teaser trailer that is so popular. And since I'm sure at some point we'll get the 501st I'll have two of those flanking him. The hard part of course is that I really want him to be posed fighting Obi, but I have other plans for him.

The way I see it this figure will display nicely by itself since it has a different base as the other ones.

I think the best way to display it will be with a couple of Special Ops troopers behind him. Another thing to consider is when do we see Ani with Sith eyes on film.
