So, if the concept of 'Collecting' didn't exist, what would you do to pass the time?

How does collecting pass the time? For me collecting is just ordering online and then opening the package and putting it on display--it's not like I'm sitting around playing with them.

You could travel and try out a hooker in every city.

Oh, I like how you think!!! :ted

DarthViper: well, I am presuming that if there was no such thing as collecting, then other things wouldn't happen as much, like how some of us spend hours on Internet boards. Stuff like that. And speaking for myself, I have quality playtime with my man dolls

PS, this is not meant as a real serious thread.

Says the guy with 8500 posts on a collecting forum, lol!

It would definitely be video games for me. I don't have time to play at all as it is.

he is exactly right, the real question is if there was no Internet and No Collecting what would you do, and really without being able to order on the internet There would be No collecting for a lot of us,

I think the better question is how many of us would collect to the extent that we do without the forum. I think the community plays a large part in how much time and money we spend on this hobby.

well internet just came to be in the 90's, I used the internet in 1998 for the first time, and that was in a library, not even my house,
for me the internet was really started in 2000, only a decade ago.
I know I would die without it,
but the question would be, if there was no collecting and not internet what would you do,

I would probably take hunting and bike riding, I would try to become as close to as Daryl Dixon as I could

passing time?? perhaps passing $$$$ funds and not time.

coz i still have time to do shat, but am sometimes short on $$$ to do shat....so, yeah. no hookers for me. :lol:rotfl

If I wasn't collecting or if there wasn't any internet...

...I'd definitely have more money. But I would take 90% of that money and spend it on women, booze, and cars.

I would waste the other 10%.

Before I got into collecting, I did read more, wrote more, exercised more, spent more time interacting with people in "real" life. This is way better. ____ knowledge, health, and socialization. Collecting > everything else :rock
