So inspected all the figures and faced some more issues
There’s another alternative sculpt with scratch on the nose. Not as big as the previous one but it’s still there. Guess that sculpt moves in the box during transit so shaking caused that.

Another issue. Idk what’s going on there but one of the regular sculpts has some hair pieces missing. When you look at it it looks Ok but next to others there’s obviously a difference and bald spot lol. I think it’s a molding issue.

From five copies two came without instructions poster. Two came with nose scratch and one with some unusual hair.

Are you sure there’s missing hair there? It looks like one of the hair pieces is just pushed back and the strands are connected with the back hair piece. If you gently heat up the hair, you can detach the strands and pull them apart to make his hair look more full.

Not sure I tried to rearrange with fingers but feels like it’s glued together. Gonna try to heat it up.

Just as a warning, I heated up my figure's hair today to try to style it and have it sit more flat with the pose I'm using. The hair was fine and does separate nicely into three main chunks of hair per side of his face which you can move around to make it look more full or even wind blown.

But be super careful around his necklace because the medallion will pretty much melt with any bit of heat. I had to reform it into a circle after it turned into a messy blob with the slightest amount of heat. Luckily I didn't lose any detail, but it was touch and go for a bit when the edges were more square than round.

Thanks for the info tho, I might still gonna try that, let’s see what Soo Soo says, they probably won’t consider it as an issue, but they definitely need to send me two of potion heads, as nose chips can’t be fixed without experience, which I don’t have.

P.S. strange that medallion melts as easily I thought it was a solid metal.

Thanks for the info tho, I might still gonna try that, let’s see what Soo Soo says, they probably won’t consider it as an issue, but they definitely need to send me two of potion heads, as nose chips can’t be fixed without experience, which I don’t have.

The chain on the necklace is full metal but the medallion is definitely not.

Edit: Also, I suppose you could practice on the potion heads with the nose chips bc they’re getting replacing anyway!

Update from Giantoy on my heads.
They sent one alternative sculpt replacement for free and offered me to send two more defective heads back to China for replacement. Idk if it’s even worth it. I’m on holiday break and don’t have heads with me. Shipping them back to China gonna cost me at least 50$.
No offense but kinda disappointed with Giantoy. It isn’t my fault that I got a defective products. If they thought I was playing some games, they could ask me to destroy sculpts and send the proof. Kit would send them right away, sad he doesn’t carry Soo Soo stuff.

This could be a Soosoo issue. They may not be willing to provide head sculpts unless they get defective ones back.

All of these QC issues kind of turn me off to getting this figure. I have their Prince figure, and it even came with defective hands.
