I just found this at BigBadToyStore and figured other Saber fans might be interested too.

I don't think so, but I've never seen Claymore.

The main premise of the original (Fate/Stay Night) is that every 10 years, there is a war for the Holy Grail, which will grant the victor any single wish. Magic users conjure warrior spirits from history, and then fight to the last man. It's pretty spectacular. And violent (but not gratuitous). Art is gorgeous. So is the music.

The story of her history is moving as hell. Heroic doesn't begin to describe it. Who they made her was creative genius on the part of the writers. Simply a great character.

I love Type Moon and Saber but I wont get this till it goes for 60% sales online like most Bandai products of this nature. What annoys me is the Gilgamesh is an exclusive if I remember correctly. Chogokin Gilgamesh is far more interesting given his design and lack of figures. There are WAY too many Saber figures on the market

This little figure seems to have better articulation than most major 1/6 base bodies.

I've tried tons and tons to do this pose. No success.

Smaller figures tend to have better articulation than larger ones. Bandai Figuarts figures have crazy articulation.

I wonder why that is ... I'm guessing they're just developed with that in mind.

It's because they are smaller and meant to be more like toys; more poseable. They also have more apparent joints too. A lot of 1/6 figures try to make the bodies as realistic as possible. Personally I don't see the point. Make a statue if you want to hide all joints and what not. I rather have a super articulated figure or a statue, not some hybrid.

Saber looks great.

I'm a sucker for the standard blue. I have the Revoltech, Figma, and Azone figures. Die-cast at this scale is irresistible.

However, I've never seen any of them depreciate. I was relieved to see this start at under $100.

I used to collect Saber figures a lot, but she became more and more popular in the last five or so years so I mostly gave up on trying to get all of her figures. I still have a bunch of them, including the Saber Lily Figma that came with the special edition of the fighting game.

I know there were a lot of PVC statues, but I never saw much articulated (besides what I listed). Always hoped Yamato would do a Variable Motion figure of her. Unfortunately, they're worse than Hot Toys when it comes to lines and there are still only two (Motoko Kusanagi and Leina Vance).

This one?

I like that design a lot. I had the 1:7 from Good Smile pre-ordered a long time ago, but never followed through.

Link is broken for me. I have quite a few PVC statues of Saber. My favorite by far is this one

Looks awesome on my shelf

That was the one I never got. She's beautiful, but it was expensive at the time, and I wasn't familiar with the design.

(fixed the link)

This one looks better than the Figma. Hefty price though.

I like the Lily design the best... though it's not as "Saber" as the original blue.

I used to have the GSC Saber Lily until I sold all my PVC statues. Definitely was my top.

As for the property, I've only seen the shows. Liked Fate/Zero, was meh about Fate/Stay Night.

You need to play the game to get the real F/SN experience.
