Maybe it's taking long cause HotToys are trying to work around it, make a different deal?

Or just figure out what to bundle him with and how to make it affordable

Hot toys doesn't have any say in how the merchandise and licensing works. It's a deal made between Sony and marvel. It can't be "worked around".

Nah, Tokyo Toy Show is a trader's event. Mostly announcing about new Japanese products or tv shows related toys in Japan.
