I finally finished my Miller figure. It's taken me quite some time to source the parts and try out different pieces. I think Im finally happy with the result....at least for the time being. If new, better pieces get produced, Im sure I'll switch some stuff out, i.e the vest. Not very happy with it, or the BBi version. Anyway, parts list is as follows:
Head: Longbow
Helmet; DID inner helmet with cvi decals.
Undershirt: DID
Jacket: BBi Vince
Assault Vest: DID Merrill
Holster/ Belt/ Pouches etc: DID
Pants:BBi Vince
Leggings: be-com.shop (would have loved to get more item from them but they are quite pricey:()
Boots: modified NLM
Body: Dragon modified

Very nicely done. I also did the DID liner trick for the helmet. I think it turned out great.

I ended up sticking with the BBI vest... I like the detail of it but your's is probably more screen accurate.

Did you paint the head yourself?

Look forward to seeing more of your stuff...

Thanks Rugby.
I made casts of the DID liner for use on other customs. Its probably the best fitting M1 style helmet I've found.
I agree with you on the vest. I think the BBI is a better fit and color but the ribbing/ trim around the edges isnt very accurate. I'd like to get a hold of a Dragon Captain Miller vest but those are virtually impossible to find.
I did paint the heads myself....except for the eyes, I had Small do those.
Thanks agian!

ryan that is some awesome work & i would kill for these........(well maybe not kill, but definitely maim...:D)........each looks outstanding. my only small critique (IMHO) might be that the clothes look a smidge baggy. have you thought about water treating these? that might give them a lil' tighter fit. otherwise everything is badass !!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys!
He has been a fun figure to make. Kind of frustrating at times trying to figure out what parts to use. Think he turned out okay though.
Barryo: I might have to go back and do the water treatment. Not sure if I should though since I already did the weathering and such.

if you don't think any of the weathering would withstand a water treatment then definitely don't do it. i would hate to see anything run on these outfits. and please don't take my one little critique as gospel for change, because they really do kick all kinds of ass as is.

Thanks man :D. I wet the clothes initially when I put them on the body, I just didnt really "form" them :duh

I came across the amazing sculpts by Francis Tavares and had a go at a Sgt. Lipton figure from Band of Brothers. I have a couple more from the series in the works right now as well.
Made mostly with Newline and Battlegear toys. Modified Dragon body and custom, smaller recasted M1 helmet. Headsculpt, helmet and uniform painted and weatherd by myself. Thanks!
