As I've gone back and looked over images others have posted of Mcgregor in the film, I may have been off a bit in thinking this figure looks nothing like him. While it's no homerun, it does look more like him than I once thought.

It loses something in the eyes I think.

No. Clonobi is not on the PRO body. Now if EpII Obi were on the PRO he would be shorter than Clonobi, yes.

Guys, this figure is actually out. My local toy shop got them yesterday along with HT Two Face.

I didn't get it but it looks ok. The paint job is a little lacking for me and it looks a little off from the proto pics. Worst in the jedi costume. Really cheap looking material. Can't tell if the body is pro or buck though.

Are you sure you're not confusing him with Clonobi or the ROTS Obi Wan?

Guys, give me more credit, he is really out. This is the toy shop that got it. https://www.xltoysforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5395

They haven't posted the pics of the actual product yet but it should be up by tomorrow.

Obi Wan has always been listed for a fourth quarter release so it's nothing out of the ordinary.

We also got Indy like a week before you guys.

No one's persay questioning credibility, but it seems very strange that a figure not due out until April at the earliest through the manufacturer is in someone's hands in December. It's one thing to get it a few weeks early because it's overseas and it takes the boat to SSC's warehouse awhile, but we're talking months in advance this time.

You sure this is supposed to be out in April cause the shop I saw it from has always listed the figure for a 2008 4th quarter release.

Nvm, if they still didn't update the forum with actual product pics by tomorrow, I will personally go to the shop to take pics of it after I finish work tomorrow.

Sideshow's site has had it listed as Q2 2009 since the Pre-Order went up, which means at the earlierst April. They just did the PPO a few weeks ago, if it were this close to release, I'm sure they'd have just put it up for In Stock purchase and not Pre-Order. It's just very bizarre, it won't take 3 months to come over on the boat.

Ya, it's not about calling your word BS or anything, it's just utter confusion how the maker of the product doesn't anticipate it shipping for at least 3-4 more months and some shop has it for sale.

I know what I saw and it's a SS Obiwan episode II. As to why SS listed the release date different for the US market I am not sure.

Somehow, shops in Asia are getting the product much earlier than you guys.

Perhaps someone's sneaking them out when they shouldn't. Either that or we'll all get hit with a big shipping update soon.

Well both forbidden planet websites and play.com have him up for a december release date to the factory....
