You have to understand how strange it sounds for a shop to have a piece available months before the manufacturer will.

Frankly I think the second quarter estimation sounded weirder. I mean seriously. The whole figure is pretty much the definition of "recycled". 4th quarter or 1st quarter always sounded more plausible (plus it wouldn't be the first time there was a typo on a product order page).

I would think coming out now is fairly realistic, but based on chat the day of the PPO, it sounded like the Q2 was legit and that this wasn't just being slapped together as many of us had thought when the first leaked image emerged.

Wish I could get my dang shipping quote so I know if this is worth testing out. It would be odd, but it really isn't the first time a retailer has gotten something before SS, remember the Rebel Blockade Trooper? Just.. wasn't 3 or 4 months ahead of time.

Well, I as well as others made comments of confusion about the Q2 release date and Dusty was in there fielding comments from folks and there was no correction regarding the release and comments made about how it takes time to produce the figures so it sounded like they were only as far along as they would be for any other PPO item.

If this truly is ready to ship soon, it's confusing why he was ever done as a Pre-Order and not an In Stock item. Could still do a Priority Order, just make in stock, hell it might have been easier to get an order in for the Ex. if people were committing to in stock and not thinking they could cancel in the coming months if their minds changed.

Be curious to see where this all goes.

That's just it, the only time I've seen SSC's shipping that off from others is for non-SSC products like Hot Toys. I've never heard of other sellers having items available months before Sideshow's own shipments.

Well my issue is that I have one on order already, don't really need the second but Im curious to see if it IS out.. and im poorer than poor right now. Would be fun to trick it out with a Clone Obi head and the Pro body, then see the interest on it. From the pictures though this thing looks really good in the outfit department.

I definitely like how the wardrobe looks, should improve my kitbash very much so. However, the paints apps aren't making me feel bad about having a second Clonobi head yet.

Looks like room lighting to me, skin tones don't have the flooded with flash look, especially if they're taking shots in the box, flash would shine too much off the plastic, likely, that's a fair look at the paint.
