Finally had a good sit down to look over the figure. I'm not bothered that it's not from any specific film. It's a cool looking figure. The chevron is centered (at least to my eye). The left mark is larger than the right. That kind of bothered me. During posing it gets forgotten and doesn't stick out like the misaligned chevron. It also appears that they are all like that. Whether it was a mistake or not we will probably never know. Although, the left foot popping out is annoying I don't think it's broken. It's just not made well on some and tends to pop off easily. He's not a character that's in any kind of extreme pose. It doesn't pop out on it's own. It's not a real issue (to me). A second portrait would have been sweet, so would have been a better base. You do see where some of the money went in producing this figure ie. torso, arms, etc., but it is still overpriced. You compare this figure to a figure in this price range and things don't match up. If you've been in the hobby long enough you don't need to know the in's and out's of a company to know that it's too expensive for what you get. This is not to diminish the figure. I'm glad I have it. I would recommend that you take out the neck plug. It looks better with the head sitting closer to the neck. It looks more natural. It flows better.
Regarding overpriced, you do know the cost of shipping has gone up in the last year when that big shipping company folded, right?
Couple that with cost increases in materials and licensing and you have the new normal for pricing.
