SSC Website: Where did everything go?

I was just browsing SS's site, and I see a lot of items have completely disappeared. I don't see any of the Universal Monsters or the Jaws Maquette, for example. Last time I saw it, the Jaws regular was on backorder. Now it's completely MIA.

I love being able to go to the site and see the original product listings for long sold out items. It's like a museum of history on there, or at least it was.

Were these items removed for a reason? (license lost?) Or is it just a website revamp mishap?

The home page is now very confusing. I really dont dig it at all. They should change it back to how it was, and also they should do some new ask sideshow answers. I havent seen anything new answered since October 31st.
Also when you look at the home page and the ask sideshow box at bottom right it doesnt say if there is new questions answered or not.
As for the products you just have to look on the left side once searching and choose either 'wait list items' or 'sold out' items.
I only just figured that out a few days ago while looking for sold out stuff.
I dont know why SS has to go and change their site, why fix something that aint broken.

No the Jaws Maquette is GONE,not in WL not in Sold Out items.I bought one myself from SideShow when I go on my history and click on the Jaws listing,goes to the main page.NO JAWS.

I've noticed this as well. I would sometimes jump on sideshows site to check out the dimensions of a piece for shipping purposes. No such luck anymore.

Me too, I tried to check on older, sold out items some time ago and couldn't find anything. What ever the reason, it's less service, and therefore not good.

When doing a search did you guys scroll down and see the 'Wait-List' and 'Sold-Out' options? Is that missing as well?

Sideshow is hiring a PHP programmer, perhaps it will all be sorted out after the new hire.

Well, I checked, and I do still have a waitlist order for this:

But when I click on the description to go to the sold out product page, it is missing. Seem like the end of an era for me. I always thought that might actually convert for me one day.

Sideshow if you are reading this - The search function also needs serious work - key words usually don't bring up the main items on the first page (sometimes not at all) and often bring up completely unrelated ones...

Are you looking for instock products or sold out/wait listed products?

I often use the "live product search" at the bottom of the homepage. It works much better if you know the name of the product. The search at the top finds a lot of unrelated items.

The hellboy angel of death life size bust is missing too, I was trying to get the dimensions so I can set up my new cabinet and get the shelves right. Most sites list her at 24", but I was hoping for maybe 23 1/2". Guess I just have to take her back out of the box.
