It all depends on what it looks like. I'm only considering Rambo, not Cobretti.

I never had high hopes for this, and with all the teasing and nonsense, my expectations have hit a new low. I'm not surprised nothing has been shown. I won't be surprised if these never see the light of day.
Ditto.

Best case scenario would be if ThreeA put out an M65 Rambo. But they'd need an entirely new headsculpt.

This N8ck guy is an ***** , he threatened Kaustic Plastik after their unlicensed Rocky figure was released with legal action and told them to try and get every video of the figure taken down from YouTube. Then he uses their artists to make his own Rocky licensed figures.

He has no chance in stopping this unlicensed present Toys Rocky figure from being released , think about it virtually all unlicensed, copied , counterfeit, bootleg items are made in china. From fake Nike sneakers, perfumes, designer clothes ,Gucci ,Armani, Louis Vuitton, fake Disney Toys and none of them have been successful in closing it down .

That's because it's too big an industry for the Chinese economy and the Chinese government won't do anything about it.

The only big recent one that I heard of was Lepin ( fake Lego ) factory being raided and closed down , but after a while they just popped up again .

So if none of those billion dollar companies can't do anything about it do you really think special agent Nick has a chance lol

I would consider both - as a lover of all things 80's/early-90's cheese, a Cobretti seems like a fitting tribute.

You bring up an interesting point about the figures actually releasing, though: assuming there ever IS a listing, I wonder if it'll be a preorder (you know, where we throw money in Nicky-tiny-dicky's pool and they actually never surface) or if it's on the site that means it's ready to ship...?

Same, no hype, could care less about what happens, but if and when it comes out, I'll get Rambo if it looks good and the price is reasonable or on par with the quality of the figure.

I'm looking forward to the Threezero First Blood Rambo too. At least that's actually coming out.

Are we figuring on a $200+ price point here for either?

I own the Threezero Rambo III, but get this: I passed initially based on the horrendous prototype photos (he looked like a shrugging Neanderthal with a dollar-store wig); however, when the videos hit online, I JUMPED on an order from BBTS.

The First Blood one at the moment is a tiny bit scary: same face/body from Rambo III are used (the features/aging is all wrong) so I'm hoping it follows the exact same path to final release that the previous figure followed, i.e. the final product being a 100% improvement. Fingers crossed!!!

Nick will definitely gouge his audience. I can see $279... since its "authentic" Stallone-approved.

He'll probably say limited edition with some random 1,500 number and then sell a hell of a lot more in reality.

A small sticker on the front: Limited Edition! Number 1282564 of 1500

Merry Christmas, all - stay safe!

Except for you, Nicky-tiny-dicky.
To you, nothing but coal in your Italian leather-scented, Swarovski crystal-studded, Harley Davidson-branded, Drump-approved custom PRADA-GUCCI co-branded stocking.

Will 2022 be the year that we humble collectors can at least see serious photos of the best action figures ever made? 🤔

I think this company issued a cease & desist and finally shut him down:

Perhaps Nick freaked out when see that a properly photographed prototype of a figure from Present Toys could overshadow his secret masterpieces and, worse yet, derail his plans for a definitive 1/6 scale world domination. Anyway, I doubt that the C&S will have any effect, and possibly the figure will continue its production in the shadows as many others.

It's odd and peculiar.

Over the years, I observed C&D being sent to third-party brands and also vendors. Most are usually ignored while some end up getting enforced based on the IP holder's legal representation and their ability to influence the law enforcement in the region the business violating the IP operates.
