I wish this were true but sadly it's not - as seen in that new Obi wan abomination they just showedEven Hot Toys abandoned that system. They patented it but it tends to be broken so they don't use it anymore. Just a standard moveable eyes. Some companies already used it way back.
But it is true. They abandoned PERS (Parallel Eyeball Rolling System). As I said, it tends to be broken (the stick) so they abandoned it. They are using the separate rolling eyeball now. It is just the standard system. Medicom did something like that too. Now even customizer does it.I wish this were true but sadly it's not - as seen in that new Obi wan abomination they just showed
PERS is cool and all but this isn’t really a figure that needs it. Makes more sense for a figure from an action movie due to various poses.
Hardest part for rolling eyes isnt the peg they could use metal pegs. Hardest part would be the fit. Too tight and the eyes either fuse with the face or get scratched when rolling too loose leaves unnatural gaps.Hmm I disagree there. Only because Stallone has always had bigger “droopy” eyes. So pers or rolling eyeballs would suit a figure of him quite nicely if executed properly.
