Hi, just to ask how have you done the sabers?
I assume in the pictures thats photoshopped, but what about in person?

I recently finished my SWG character with a double blue saber, made from turned acrylic, with two 3mm LEDS in the hilt. This looked good in the dark, but during the day was un visable, and ofcourse you had the wires to hide.
I have since discovered some acrylics re-emit UV light in the visable spectrum, so you can make the saber glow without wires from a distance (say behind the camera) even in the day, without disrupting the piece itself (provided it doesnt have any white on it).

anyone got any other ideas?

about your idea.. that sounds pretty good.. other then that.. my versions are likly to the sideshow jedis and siths.. I use colored acrylic rods
