Good show overall. I’m going to miss it. Also kind of sad as it seems like the end of The Clone Wars era. Not sure I’d watch an Omega spinoff if that’s what’s next.

Part of me thought there might be a chance that Tech somehow survived but I guess the show had some balls to actually kill off a lead.

Very good. Extremely happy they kept Tech dead (nice little goggle nod at the end). Looking forward to the next announcement - more Assajj is never a bad thing.

Do any of these animated shows have a "lead"? They all seem to be ensemble casts to me.
Not necessarily, but I could see a show where Omega is the lead character. If there were any hints of a continuation it was her and there weren’t any other characters with her that would necessarily be co-leads (yet). I’m sure it would be more than her but she probably would be the main focus.

Next up:
Pilots of the Rebellion!
Starring Omega and young Hera...

Really enjoyed the show. Love the animated stuff. Sure, there are always some lame filler episodes but still... at least here they still accomplish what the live action installments just can't anymore: They actually make you feel for the characters...

Glad they got their happy ending and finally some peace... I also thought that at least one of them would die in the finale... Really glad it didn't happen. :yess:

They introduced Hera and her family in one of the former seasons of The Bad Batch. Felt like one of those filler episodes at the time. But Omega sort of became friends with her. So.... she could be a co-lead. Kinda makes sense since Omega wants to be a pilot for the rebellion and we all know what became of Hera.

I thought the final scene with Omega and Hunter was somewhere near Rogue One in the timeline... either shortly before Battle of Yavin or shortly afterwards. So Hera would actually be a post-Rebels Hera; aka General Sindula, Hera.

Seems more like Obi-Wan time. Half way between ROTS and ANH.

Omega didn’t look 20 years older, maybe 10 years, more like a young adult. And Hunter didn’t look 40 years older (see Gregor, Wolffe and Rex in Rebels).

Omega being about 10 years older in the final scene would have been my guess as well...
So maybe a pre Rebels show...

I'd personally prefer an Asajj Ventress spin-off but we'll see... I take it as they come...

Would not Omega and Hera being on the same ship trash everything about the much-beloved [for some reason] "Rebels"? Let's let Omega go do her thing for a few years while we go back and hash out some of the complexities of the Clone Uprising. We have had one Hera-dominated animated show and we dont need two.

What I do need is more clones, and there's plenty of open potential plot-points with them.

Random: They introduced Hera and her family in one of the former seasons of The Bad Batch. Felt like one of those filler episodes at the time.

Thats because it WAS a huge filler episode! The only good thing about that arc is we got to see Howser. IIRC we saw the Batch for like, thirty seconds that episode. Whose show is it, anyway?

All was a pointless waste of time.
Not really. It was a pretty entertaining romp.

The Bad Batch started off as my least liked Star Wars TV show but it grew on me. At the end, I ended up caring for the characters.

In terms of moving the story forward, it did give us a good insight of how the transition from the Republic to the Empire was. The Bad Batch pretty much accelerated the transition from clones to conscripts/recruits and is likely the reason why Palpatine was never properly resurrected all the way until the rise of The First Order.

That last bit though, Omega is still alive. Maybe we'll see her eventually get caught during the Mando era shows therefore allowing the cloning of Palpatine to continue.

I feel the exact same about Rebels. Different strokes and all that.

And season 3 of Mando. Not just pointless but enraging!
Rebels, Bad Batch, Kenobi, BOBF and Mando s3: much ado about nothing burgers. All disposable in my opinion (yes, I know the cartoons are mostly beloved here so will get flamed).

Bad Batch spent most of its entire run time treading water, and thanks to it we won't ever get show about Delta Squad since Bad Batch are the Disney knockoff own brand.

Personally was once again impressed that an animated series can do what so many live action films/series cannot -

Fully fleshed out characters with distinct personalities who evolve, change, fail (really liked Crosshair's arc in this); unbelievable imagination with the created worlds; engaging narrative.

Binged the whole thing yesterday - *&^% originally thought this was a hack idea - yeah it's a bit corny/trope here and there, but that's often SW😁....

Point being I was tensed up and engaged - and worse, this is coming off watching Rebel Moon 2 and was too acutely aware of the :poop::poop::poop: vs. this series with excellent actor voice work and actual arcs where I wanted to see what happened next. I felt more about Nala Se than I did about anyone in RM. Or what's her name spy in the Obi-Wan series - the one who can dispatch a Stormtrooper with her bare hand....

Plus I'm hearing tho it may be 'net trash:monkey3 - that the new Captain America is so bad they are reshooting the whole thing - man, my collection is a lot of Marvel and - all has descended into darkness:Flush (except for Deadpool).

Yeah, I'll rewatch this.

I'll disagree since 1) I was Skywalkered out and/or 2) a good story about other things going on in this huge galaxy - and for that matter Middle Earth and other created worlds - I appreciate a good story about what is going on with not-the-"main"-characters. Even at their worst all of these have something I appreciate; whether it was Kenobi having that flashback of seeing Anakin in the field; to Rebels showing a Jedi who escaped order 66 (since it never made sense to me that ALL of them would have been killed at once).

I've got the Obi fig + rocks on PO. Fight me.;)
