Animated by one guy over the course of 4 years. The 2 min trailer was making it's rounds online several years ago. :)

cool but the music makes it feel like im watching heavy metal.

That's the point. It's like a throw back look to old school Animes from the 80s when Rock was a big thing. Transformers the Movie was all about that same music.

No wonder I had flashbacks of Robotech, Voltron and Transformers all the way through that, miss those cartoons dearly.

I'm still amazed that one guy did all this. I would've assumed some Asian Animation studio did it. lol

That. Was. AWESOME!!!! :rock

Star Wars "Macross style?" Are you kidding me!?

That's why I'm fine with these spin-off movies like Rogue One being made in a totally different style than the main saga, without John Williams, just so they can experiment with new styles. Because that was freaking amazing.

And yes TIE Bomber chick rocked. Total Miriya from Robotech vibe.

I loved this when it was the original 2 minute short. For those who haven't seen it in that version here you go:

This is obviously the expanded version of it and I think a lot of it gets lost when you add the rock music. It was much more epic with the classic film score and sound effects. It's definitely impressive but I wished he went with his first direction instead of where he needed up with it.

Saw this last night. Completely awesome. I think I could watch 90 mins of that, even if there was no dialogue, like in this short. Also agree that this was an amazing undertaking for one person to do, by their self. Obviously a labor of love, and it's really cool to see the finished product. He did a fantastic job on the movie poster, as well.
