I just tried to join the Statue forum and it said the administrator had banned my email address. Why would that happen. I use a yahoo email address for everything I join. I don't believe I had ever joined before (I could be wrong of course but I don't recall joining). I emailed the admin to see what the problem is. Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me. It said I was banned. The reason. No reason. How long am I banned for? Forever. lol
So it seems to be going around. I hope they fix that as I loved lurking their forums. Although having said that I am glad I found and made myself a place with the Freaks on this site, because everyone is just, well, gosh, GREAT!!!

Agreed, they do have a great variety of pics from different companies in the industry making all different types of figures/statues/busts/maquettes/etc.

whats up guys,
i am a member of both statue forum and sideshow freaks. both sites are pretty much invaluable when it comes to certain aspects of this hobby. the reason you cant sign up as of right now is because they arent allowing any new members for a few days. their site was hacked by some dick wad and they want to make sure they have everything in order before they allow new members. and i guess they dont want the hacker to sign back up before they can put in a stop gap. i would guess the site would be open to new members in a short time. the owner said it was going to be temporary due to the hack.
