Hi, all. Would anyone else be interested in a group commission of a Stephen Colbert or Jon Stewart action figure?

I realise Colbert and Stewart have political connotations which will not appeal to everyone, but I hope I am not alone on this one.

Originally I thought Chris Howes would be a good artist choice, but given his commission load that is unrealistic for the foreseeable future.

Please make suggestions of artists who might be interested.

Post your interest in one or both of these figures and I will maintain a list in this opening post. Thanks.

Stephen Colbert

2. KBA
3. carbo-fation
4. Bucky Underbelly

Jon Stewart

Colbert would look good with his signature raised eyebrow:

Stewart would hopefully have a smile or that slight, serious smirk he does so well:

Can a mod please move this into general collectibles? We could really use the exposure of that high traffic area.

I think we can get a stephen looking a lot more realistic than that. I don't like it:monkey1

What don't you like about it? The head looks just like him. That's probably all you would be able to get at this point anyway as most people I have contacted lately (including Plastic Earth) are having a hard time finding people that can sew at a high quality. All you would need for this figure is a generic suit anyway. Anyway, I was just trying to help as I remembered this figure was already out there somewhere.

Didn't mean to offend you. The biggest thing for me throwing the sculpt off is it not being long enough. For the suit I would buy Hot Toys tony stark suit. The tie might not be colbert enough but that's easily replaceable :)

Okay, cancel what I said. I went back and checked some emails. The Colbert was NOT available for sale, it was the Rod Serling I was thinking of. I was asking about the Colbert because my brother is a huge fan. Got some pics from different angles of the head.

It looks a lot better in those shots. Personally, while I love both of these guys, I don't feel any need to have a figure of either one of them. And as I've said in other threads, I would not count on getting Chris Howes to commit to anything like this in the near future because he has quite a bit on his plate already.

If this is still alive, you can count me in for one of each!

But might there be other sculptors who might be interested? Mr. Howes seems to have a lot on his plate at the moment and I wouldn't want to add to anybody's woes!
