Still many hidden stash at SS?

I wonder how many hidden stock there are in SS warehouse, so what do they mean when it is completely out of stock... The recent found of 2 SSW Aragorn was a good example...

Well, the WiKi Crown has never been available for direct sale, right?

It was a free gift for the medallion subscribers, open edition. Who knows how many Sideshow has made, and how many they still got left. But they can't offer it for sale, can they.

You also have to remember that alot of these "hidden stashes" are extras they intentionally kept back in case their customers needed replacements. I ordered the Ultimate Hellboy exclusive as a non-attendee a few years back. However, the box was either stolen off my porch or never delivered. Since it was sold out for both attending and non-attending, I figuring that I was SOL. However, when I called SS, they told me they always keep a small quantity in reserve for issues like this. Not sure how long exactly they keep them. But think about how many older items on their site still have wait lists. I think it ties into their replacement stashes.

OT-The exclusives are what killed this line for me, I was going to collect them all until they made the Minas Tirith helms (my favourites) an exclusive - making it near impossible for me to get them.

Well, I still have not received my Aragorn son of Arathorn Statue that I ordered on the 7th. I was lucky and was able to get one of the two they 'found' and still ....nothing....
The initial charged they bulleted my card for, fell off and has not been charged yet.
No shippingh e-mail.
Nothing.

When I called, they said that it 'went missing' but was now found...and would ship out Friday (the 16th) or Monday (the 19th).....so, we shall see....

These 'finds' are both a blessing and a curse. The blessing is some lucky guy or gal can get a grail figure for original retail. The curse is if you were on the wait list and Sideshow cancelled it because they 'don't expect to find any and there were no recent cancellations', you feel cheated after waiting so long and then one turns up. With today's inventory software, and a recent warehouse move, you think they would be on top of their stock.

If you are talking about the Gondoriam Helm Collection, picked mine up from eBay for a bit less than $200. Also saw a guy from NZ sell off two AP sets for a little over $300. There are a couple on eBay right now.

I don't recall the Gondorian Helm set as an exclusive at all. It's that you had to buy them as one set. But, they weren't part of any promotion that I can remember. I recall it was available to pre-order from SS' website just like anything else.

They were only "exclusive" in that you had to purchase them direct.

"went missing", heh, someone trying to hide it. Probably someone in the warehouse. AT least they recovered it... just hope it gets to you in mint condition.

They still have several 'rare' busts in the warehouse as well. They've been caught on FILM.
