A few peeps use https://imageshack.us for sourcing pictures theyve uploaded

Please dont it is a crapola system for people to display pictures to others

If someone wants to view your picture after you post a really small thumbnail of the original in here then they have to create an account with imageshack.us just to view the pic !

I havent so far just because the images I have seen on there Ive not been that desperate to view well not to warrant spending time creating an account anyhow

But in this day and age with Online photo libraries plentiful why anyone would use this antiquated system is beyone me

Im sure others can post better online photo library websites but for a start here is the one I use regularily

https://www.flickr.com

You upload your image (admitedlly you have a monthly quota but its an exremely generous monthly quota)

and then you can look at the properties of the flickr image you uploaded and copy part of the url and post it in here (as far as Im aware you then have posted the image not a thumbnail)

Its easy and theres no messing about with small thumbnails and creating accounts

My 2 cents

LOL!

I'll keep on using imageshack for those images that are pretty much useless because once you submit the image you can forget about it and not have "clutter" in your account.

For my collection pics, I use photobucket.

imageshack is free, fast, and easy. just paste the link in here. Why would you paste a tiny thumbnail of the picture? they give you the link, just post that. I don't understand why you would do that.

I use Imageshack as well and I don't have an account? It's just what I started using to post images that I use on these forums. I don't use it as a personal on-line gallery. I do used thumbnails occasionally just so I don't fill up the screen with an image. So are you saying that you can't open those thumbnails if you don't have an account?

I use photobucket as well...it's super easy. I've also been prompted to open an account when I've clicked on someone's thumbnail imageshack picture. I don't need another account, so I guess I'll be missing out on these pics.
