Speculation at this point but while surfing the inter webs I found a pose that I think would perfectly equate a well balanced PF that would remain consistent with the line.

I don't know if the Daredevil PF is made from poly stone but the suspended animated look for A potential Storm PF with fist pump would be awesome.

Hoping its in the pipeline because it would complete the set nicely

Marvel has sent out another Summer 2015 teaser which depicts a comic cover based on the 90's animated series that aired on the Fox network. This is one of many teasers Marvel has been putting out recently teasing the return of pretty much every major event in Marvel's comic book history next summer. I am not really sure what Marvel is really planning for the Summer of 2015, but I have a feeling there is more going on than meets the eye.

I would buy a PF of all of these characters.

LOL although I already own Cyc, Wolv, Gambit and Rogue, I would consider getting new versions as well, that is, if they came out better than the existing ones. Furthermore I'm happy with my Storm even though she's not wearing her Jim Lee suit. And finally, I would kill for a Jubilee PF. I'm a big fan of her. Would love to see her with a fabric coat like Gambit. So much potential.

Rain coat of. So awesome! Glasses on and up head sculpts too!

The customs all have a white costume, the costume is silver / black

Really? A reboot when they didnt even complete the last xmen line cause they were too busy with iron man porn. Now theyre making figures and statues of literally everything at the new low price of $425 a pop. Sorry not too excited for this. Tired of all the bull.

Beast and Iceman need 1:4 PF's rather than Storm although that costume and pose would look very nice. The Beast comiquette looks soooo good. But never seen it in person. I can't get any 1:5 stuff now though. I've come too far.

Except for Jubilee and Prof. X these are all good references for statues of these characters. The Wolverine PF is similar enough, just more dynamic.

Minus Jean and Beast this is the 90s cartoon roster...one of my favorite shows as a kid. Love it!

Yeah if they'd make a Jubilee PF I'd hope it would have a comical bubblegum switch out portrait (similar to the Harley Quinn switchout head) sun glasses lifted

Luv me some Jubilee

Yup, that's EXACTLY what I think for Jubilee as a switch out as well. And your choice of pose for Storm is along the lines of what I always thought would be a good pose in that costume.

Hopefully we'll get them before they're both $500 a piece.

I agree, I don't see where they kept their heads about the X Line. So much potential, but isn't surprising it got ****ed up.

I say reboot, as because it really has gotten bad. I will agree though if prices keep as they are, I'd say it's a lost cause to revamp this. I'd just stick with never going with a complete X line, for me at least.

Oh god, this would be a day one purchase, such an awesome character to pass on.
Seriously. Back to drawing board SS.
:exactly:

So much potential but all of it gets ****ed up.

On the note of Storm, I agree with the position, but I would like if her hand had a ball of lightning! Kind of like how Kier has the skull with detail, I'd say that's pretty good. I know some people hate that idea, just look at the Thor: TDW 1/4 piece :slap

When I think of what made the XMEN so great, I think of these images. If SSC does continue the line I hope they don't use the Marvel Now designs but they focus on Uncanny Xmen issues 248-300 and Xmen Vol 2 1-50 or so from early 90s. Yes the cartoon did catapult the success of Jim Lees era, but his designs are ranked in top 5 for XMEN same with Todd McFarlanes Spider-Man / Venom run.

A museum pose Magneto like this stance would kill the competition. Only reason why I never bought the XM version was the obscure costume design and inconsistent scale.

The most fondest memories I had growing up reading comics for the first time, all attributed to Jim Lees art direction

And her Lee costume is chrome silver not white. Chrome like Colossus' skin

Yeah, the Lee run was great but it looks like SSC may have abandoned that line. The last few X releases have all had a classic vibe to them. Storm, Wolverine, Sabretooth, and Dark Phoenix are in their 80's costumes. Doesn't look good for anyone hoping to complete the Lee PFs. As a HUGE Byrne fan I gotta say I'm loving these last few X PFs. It's just sad to see SSC possibly prematurely shuttering the Lee line to start another one. This is why I hate buying lineups from SSC. Even though I'm elated with these Byrne era pieces, I won't by all of them because I already know SSC won't complete the run. What good is picking up a Byrne era Storm and Phoenix when I have no confidence that a Byrne era Nightcrawler, Cyclops, or Colossus will get made? SSC's track record sucks in that category. X-MEN COMs, dead. Lee PF line, abandoned. There's no rhyme or reason with what SSC is doing with the X-MEN and it's frustrating me to no end. Especially since SSC is the only company allowed to put out X related merch while Marvel is at war with Fox over the movie rights. That's like a double whammy.

No complaints for a Byrne 70s / 80s Classic Run

From Lee's line my wish list is Archangel Storm and Beast. I'd be disappointed if any of those three were anything but Lee 91 era.

I do dig Marvel Now designs for Storm and Magneto, but both are long over due for the 90s treatment

A Byrne Cyclops Nightcrawler Dazzler Psylocke Rogue Colossus Havok is nothing I'd complain about.

I hate that some lines discontinue in favour of modern ones. I'm all for classics.

True Storms lee costume was only 5 years in the running but it also evolved / adapted from the 80s black jumpsuit with Thunderbolt. Either or could work, I like the shoulder pads and reflective surfaces on those costumes

I hope you get every X PF you want Rulk. I just wish SSC would follow through and finish all the major players in whatever line they start. It just seems like SSC abandons every X line in all formats. I collected the Adam Hughes COM line back in the day. Of course I have all the X-Ladies (Rogue, Emma, Mystique, and Jean). However, the lineup is missing a staple character. No AH classic Storm was released and never will be. That's a huge sore spot for me. Much like any Lee fan needing a white Storm PF for their collection. Funny enough, I met Adam Hughes a few years ago at a local Con and he told me Storm was supposed to be the 1st release in the line but Marvel rejected his concept art for the piece. So, in the end, it just looks like it wasn't meant to be. I still wish they would have went back to the drawing board and got one done. It's a glaring omission in my AH lineup.

Hopefully, SSC will start to fill in some holes in the X-MEN PF lines. After all, we can never have enough Lee or Byrne era X-MEN PFs as far as I'm concerned.

Best way to get people back on board with the XMEN line is to release pairs around the release of the Apocalypse film.

If I were running the shots I'd unveil

Storm and Magneto around Comic Con,

Nightcrawler Byrne Cyclops and Iceman around Xmas 2016

And by Con 2017 have Archangel and Beast and maybe Jubilee or Juggernaut up for preorders next year

BAM!
