Premium Format Sucker Punch Babydoll: Real or Recast?

i received the Babydoll PF from a seller on eBay this week. It has some imperfections that make me wonder whether it is real or a recast. What do you think? I would really appreciate your opinion. If you need more photos to make a decision, let me know.

BTW there's a blotch of skin color paint on the sword.

yep, the statue is not worth recasting. If anything they would do the GG one.

from your photos it look like the Guy got one that had some paint issues.

depending on how much you got her for and if these imperfections bother you and were not mentioned in the item description you should contact the seller.

Although BabyDoll turned out pretty damn good the main problems that were mentioned had to do with her Pig Tails not fitting correctly.Not many paint issues at all as I recall.

hope you get it worked out.She is a nice Figure to have.

Imperfections are part of SS collecting, none of them are every perfect. Yours looks fine except the sword with what I can see in those pics. That should not have been missed. Was it sealed when you got it? I would ask for a few bucks back and try to clean it off yourself, should not be hard, but you may lose the decal with the "engraving" on it.

Have there ever been any "quality" knockoffs of mixed media SS statues? I would think it would be terribly difficult to recreate ask of the different clothing and accessory materials without it being noticeably off. Seems like it would take too much effort.
