Superbowl Commercials

Well. I have been unable to post in the forums for days. I presume it was a glitch on my computer.

The commercials looked up a little in the Superbowl this year. They were not incredibly awesome. But there was some good stuff there.

A few I liked:

The girl getting knocked out by the Pepsi Max can. Those screaming "racism" need to get a life.

The guy who brought grandpa back to life with Doritos. I got a good belly laugh out of that one.

I have always liked the etrade baby...those were not the best of him, but they were good.

Then the trailers for T4, Captain America, Thor, and Cowboys and Aliens all looked good. POTC: OST looks like they got Jack Sparrow back to his original form...that one looks very good.

Kid Darth Vader starting the car was the only really memorable one to me. I felt the commercials in general were pretty lackluster, but I don't think they've been very good for the last few years.

It was cute until I found out the kid hasn't ever watched Star Wars. So he had no idea what the heck he was doing. Totally ruins the commercial.

Not for me. I can picture plenty of kids I know especially a 4 year old cousin of mine that loves SW. I can see him inside that doing these said things.

That Kid Vader commercial was by FAR my favorite. I loved it and got a good laugh out it as well.

me too..I enjoyed most of the movie trailers, but they had too many old commercials mixed in

What MAKES the commercial is that the little boy has a heart problem and has a pacemaker at the age of 6. Very cool that they chose this special young man for the spot.

This was my fav Super Bowl commercial too. Talk about hitting your target audience. I grew up with the original trilogy and me and my friends used to go around using the Force (or trying to) all the time. Brought back some great memories for me. Cracked me up and choked me up (a little) all at the same time.

That was a good one I also liked the guy that sucked the Dorittos cheese off the guys finger - you know the "you left the best part" one?

The VW Kid Vader and the Pepsi Max "First Date" are the two I liked best.

My favorite was probably the Roseanne Snickers.
