Boston Rob and Russell Hantz return....again :lol

Survivor: Redemption Island starts Wednesday, February 16th

Gaah! Don't really like the rehash of players for a 3rd or even 4th time, though I am a fan of Boston Rob and to some extent Russell.

I really do like the concept of giving a voted out player a chance at redemption by winning competitions.

Just checked out the cast, interesting that a few look like carbon copies of past survivors even down to a long haired Fabioesque player. Not really a looker amongst them but a couple look like they may not be bad to look at after the Survivor diet hits.

I don't mind Rob or Russell back since Rob will never make it to the finals and even if Russell does it'll be funny to see him lose yet again.

The last 10 seasons have been pretty much all the same players. And with Russell and Rob back I really don't know if I want to watch or not.... those guys needed to stay away.

I'd love to see survivor take a year off or so, then come back strong. I'm just getting tired of the endless grind of this type of show.

Philip is not long for this game. :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

What a nut job.

While I applaud the effort Kristina and Francesca used to try and blindside Rob, they didn't have the numbers to do it anyway. Rob had 6 votes that they were going to split 3-3 on Kristina and Francesca. K/F/P were to vote for Rob. You would have a 3/3/3 tie and regardless of whether K used the Immunity idol, a revote would have booted F anyway. It's too bad because F did seem pretty strategic compared to K and P, but P's melt down exposed their plan and sealed their fate.

I gather from watching the episode that Philip worked for the FBI? I think he mentioned it a couple times. :rotfl

I thought it was a really good start to the season. There seems to be a good mix of players. And as much as I like Rob's and Russell's gameplay, I hope they don't place most of the focus on the two of them.

I love how there's a question mark after that everytime they put his name up on the screen. He's definitely nuts. :cuckoo: :lol

I feel bad for Francesca, possibly the smartest player to ever be voted out first. She alligned with the 2 dopiest of the season.

Rob had balls to ask for the Idol, but that type of attitude, almost an entitlement, will get him eliminated.

Overall good first episode, though I really feel the teams are weighted very unevenly as far as physicality goes. The orange tribe is way too skinny compared to the brawny purple tribe.

I've got Sarita White in my Survivor pool at work... Barely saw her (she's on Russell's tribe) and that's awesome.

Thats why I am going with the guy in orange on Rob's tribe. He didn't say one word the entire episode... I'm not sure what his name even is.
