T-800 Bust neck pistons/hoses.

The neck hoses/pistons in the promo pics look like they are too widely spread instead of running down along to the neck. The 1:1 endo looks same, but someone in another thread said they are bendable and can be adjusted.
Is that correct? Or is there a plan to re-adjust them before manufacturing? The way they are positioned now, the person's neck would look something like this -
