T-800 with rubber skin

So I am very excited about the upcoming T-600 life size bust from sideshow and Terminator Salvation in general. I heard some people talking about maybe an exclusive with the rubber skin and I think that would be an awesome idea, if it will actually happen is another thing. I decided to make my own rubber skin out of brush on latex rubber and fit it to sideshow's T-800 Combat edition bust. This is my first attempt at ever doing anything like this so I imagine with more practice I could make it much better and accurate looking. Basically I made a removable mask for my bust. Here are some pictures. I tried to paint it in a burn flesh sort of look from being shot at by the resistance with all sort of weapons. Enjoy and I would love to hear some suggestions on how I could improve this or if this is just a bad idea...hehe. By the way this took me 5 days to complete.

Well, a simple idea. Rubber mask over the head bust. It works.

actually, from the side or 3/4 view it kinda reminds me of the nemesis creature in resident evil.

It totally does look reminiscent of Nemesis. But all in all it's really cool. There's something creepy about the rubber-skin look. Of course Arnie and the battle damaged face is iconic, but I'm glad they're introducing those creepy new models in T-4. The shots of them in the trailer are all sorts of weird.

It does look like nemesis LOL...perhaps I unconsciously had him on my mind when I made this.

That is so cool! Will you try the same thing on the upcoming SS T-600 bust? It'd be 100% accurate because in T: Salvation it looks like flesh is just hanging off the T-600 head like a bad mask

Yeah I plan on doing the same for the T-600. To bad it probably won't ship until 2010 but I'll definitely do the same. Thanks for the nice words. I'm going to make a few different styles with different degrees of battle damage.
