You can see finger nails through gloves!? Good to know.

Hope this is just for the prototype pics. If not.. kinda cheap to just paint some regular hands black and call them "Gloved" while charging $12.99 + S&H. :lol

cheap or not i bought 4 sets. :p

the bbi bloody rose and Shi figures came with these types of hands and they are frakkin awesome.

Just an odd choice. I mean if they wanted to be cheap and rehash something, why not rehash the Lola figures gloved hands?

yeah good point. who know maybe they will release lola's hands. those were pretty nice too although it's only the pistol and open hands holding the bomb. these have the sword hands which is the one i need most

Well, I think they're casted in black, not painted. But yes,
they shouldn't have finger nails.

I'm glad I have saved a few pairs of the Lola hands, which
I think are some of the better femaled gloved hands around.
Perhaps if there is enough complaints, they would change the
Gloved hand sculpt to not include finger nails..:D

It's not just the finger nails, a hand in a glove looks very different, on these you can still see the joints, the palm lines, etc.

These remind me of the SSC stormtrooper black painted hands we got and that Sideshow later replaced with black gloved looking hands.

Oh I know. I already asked Louie about them and why they
are not more like the Lola gloved hand set. Which are very nice
female gloved hands.

Any response? Or.. if you haven't received one yet could you post up it up in here when you get it?

Louie's reply from the Triad Toys Forum . . . not that it'll dissuade you or others from complaining . . .

Well, it's not so much a question of being cheap because it costs the same whether or not they have gloved folding lines on them or not. :p But it's a question of personal taste. I personally like these hands and want to see them get made. Many of the older Takara and BBI hands were done this way and they work very well for really tight fitting clothing figures - Bloody Rose, Shi, and some of the older Takara figures. So it's not a matter of saving costs or not and you know we don't have a problem with sculpting them. I just like them. :D

If this particular set doesn't tickle your fancy, you'll notice that almost every set has an "01" on them, which means there will be more coming out eventually. If sales come to a dead halt on these, it just proves that I'm an eccentric collector and that I'll end up with more than enough hands for my own girls. :p

lol, he likes them this way. Sure he does. Got called on the bs. lol

He didn't get called on B.S.. I asked him and unlike
many other 1/6 companies, he answered.

So, he likes them. what wrong with that? Plus he did hint to the fact that
there are going to be series 1, 2, 3...etc....hands sets being produced.

So could it be, that they actually do have several different styles
in the works and these are just the first...hmmm, yes it can.

Have they done this and made multiple hands sets in the past....hmmmm, yes they have.

Strange, I'm sensing a pattern here....:rotfl.

He did get called out. This thread. They are hands molded in black. Not gloved at all. :duh
