Sigh. Another frickin repaint release. Really getting tired of these constant variants without unique characters being released too. So many great unique characters they could give us from their concept art such as Gamorrean Guard, Artoo, IG-88, Ackbar, Yoda, Amidala, Scout Trooper. At least give us some of those in amongst the ongoing repaints!

I imagine the line just isn't doing as well as it once did, and so it's slowly chugging along on life support with partially retooled figures instead of un-budgetable whole new molds.

As if they are funding the next set of molds with repaints. Gamorreans should be the logical choice since they have a higher chance of selling multiples.

They’ve been teasing IG-88 for so long that they could’ve just released it as IG-11 and it be relevant and they even missed that boat.

On Tamashii official website, an very recent update ( 2023.04.06 ) is saying :

"[STAR WARS] A lot of new products to watch out for "MEISHO MOVIE REALIZATION"!

Hope they are talking about the prototypes they showed us lately and they even made a poll for ut to vote for our favorites.

Still love the figures that we've received so far. It's a great looking collection for sure. I just hope they announce more unique characters soon instead of these endless repaints.

I used to be so excited when I received a new Star Wars Movie Realization figure. But that was when unique characters were still being released, whereas now it really feels like endless repaints and retools.

It took almost 4 weeks for this new Daimyo Boba to be shipped from the US to Australia. Bloody shipping from the US these days is just stupid slow. But at least it's here, so more pics and video review coming up soon!

Was hoping news soon with that post on their website after the last Book of Boba Fett release but still nothing so far.
