& TonTon I don't think the Kenny Baker tubes would fit on the HT because there's some magnets & spring loaded feet on the Tama to assist them going on.

How much articulation do you want from an R2 though? He needs to be able to lean back, stand upright and roll lol
Visually, there's no contest. The HT simply looks better. It was made to be a model.
The Tamashii was made to be a toy, hence the silly panel slots so you can open them. Plus the exaggerated rivet holes. The Tama has never looked like a worthy companion for their Threepio. The slots alone kill the figure for me.
I can't help thinking shampoo bottle every time I see the Tama. Maybe it's because we rarely see a 'high end' completely clean Artoo?
On the other hand, the HT is really calling out to me, even though he's not based on a bone fide Star Wars movie.
