I was watching this movie last night and couldn't stop laughing at the english accent one of the bad guys was putting on. Skip to about 4:40 on this video , its the guy dangling over the edge.

Why is it that in alot of american movies they make us sound like we're from the 17th century. Hell .. I don't think we even sounded like that then. :rotfl

Amazingly entertaining movie on a cheese level too. :lol:rotfl

Wasn't that character suppose to be Australian? Either way I agree, it was horrid. They had that assclown play the villian in like half the 80's movies produced.

I hate EVERY Sylvester Stallone movie. And this one might just be the worst of all of them. I think there might be one or two of his movies that actually have a decent supporting character portrayal, but it certainly is not this one.

Even Rocky, First Blood and Cop Land?

I love this film.

Pretty sure he is meant to be Austrailian, but not sure even he knew what accent he was meant to be doing.

Well, Kurt Russell does say "give me a name blah blah or you are going back to ENGLAND in a f'king baggie".

Its just bad bad acting.

I am pretty sure that same actor was the first Replicant we see in Blade Runner's opening scene.

Ah good point.

It is Leon from Blade Runner yes.

He kinda sounded like Vivian from Young Ones! :lol

Anyway, we have that over here too. Alot of Australians doing American accents and sometimes it fails.

I love Sly movies. Especially the more cheesy ones....I've seen Demolition Man more times than I can remember but if you're looking for bad you don't have to go any further than this:

but Tango and Cash is still fantastic. :lol

Hahah, I just watched that and even though I'm not British I could still discern that it was a bad accent!

I have two major problems with Sylvester Stallone. They are:

1) I don't care what anybody says. I do not feel he is a good actor. Not in any movie he has ever been in. And you know, I could forgive that because I am OK with the occasional cheesy movie if it were not for:

2) I consider it to be the epitome of hypocricy for him to end up as everyones Viet Nam hero, and make tens of millions of dollars as such, when he dodged the draft and went hid in Canada. He is nothing more than a male Jane Fonda to me.
