Tapes, what do you do with them?

Am I the only person who removes every tape i can especially on the boxes? Because MISB or not i've experience tapes hardened and just came off leaving thick coat of glue that can't be removed even with alcohol without ripping the outer layer of the box out when i got some old MISB stuffs, so i decided to remove all the tapes unless it's one of those special Hot Toys round tapes i'd try to keep them as mint as possible, for those normal tapes i remove them all including inner tray tapes, except the one on the plastic bag for Manuals.

I know some people like to keep them MISB and sealed in acrylic boxes to get them certified but the tapes will just destroy the box no matter how 10/10 you had them.

If you open the top but leave the bottom ones intact, sooner or later the bottom tape will start to peel off the edges of the box due to gravity.
