Teen Wolf series???

I was just looking at a website and a commercial for TEEN WOLF popped up before my webcam loaded.
It's going to air on MTV after the movie awards in June.

It looks cheesy as Hell,trying to cash in on the shiny vampires I bet.

This show and the original movies will have nothing in common except for character names. It's a Twilight slant on the character with Scott getting bit by another wolf and dealing with it. The movie wasn't great but it had it's charm. The girl in this is hot but being on MTV the show will suck hard. It'll catch it's audience though, all the little Twilight fans and Vampire Diaries fans in my classes are counting the days for this to it.

I loved the first Teen Wolf movie and for some reason, I always loved this song at the end. I'll probably pass on the series.

I have to admit the first two episodes weren't that bad Its filmed well and the acting and writing is much better than I expected. Certainly not as painful as Twilight and its fairly graphic.

Biggest complaints would be the emphasis on relationship drama (but that is kind of the crux of the show) and that the transformed character looks like Eddi Munster Still nowhere near as bad as I though it would be... but still not a series I'll likely stick with.

THIS is the only good teenish vampire show around.
If only the werewolves were actually werewolves...

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this show. It's not real cheesy and the werewolf metaphor works much better than vampirism as a substitute for teen angst. They also seem to have a pretty rich and complex mythology that is just beginning to come out. It's got me hooked for now.
