I have always been a huge fan of Terry Gilliam and I was wondering if there is enough interest from other collectors for figures from his films?

I would personally like to see the following;

Brazil - (Pryce) Lowry in Dream Armor with wings. pic... https://brianrayfiction.com/blog1/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/brazil1.jpg

12 Monkeys - (Willis) Cole in Bio-hazard suit (exploring the uninhabitated topside) pic... https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gsUALeZML10/SUaiLRy0P7I/AAAAAAAAG_0/uMsc704yrKc/s400/12monkeys_l.jpg and https://thecia.com.au/reviews/1/images/12-monkeys-6.jpg

Time Bandits - Main Villain (cannot remember name right now) and the Time Travelling Little people. pic... https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7HTO3jP-...bLIYyGJqM/s400/time_bandits_xl_02--film-A.jpg

any interest out there?

There might be a big enough market for Brazil to make it worth, say, Hot Toys giving it a look. But that film is a certifiable classic and would appeal broadly to fans of pop culture. Not sure if any of Gilliam's others could be considered that, though I'm a fan of his. Maybe Fisher King.

I can imagine Sideshow doing Gilliam statues. They should start with the giant squashing foot from Monty Python.

Sounds like it'd be a better job for one of the smaller companies like Brothers Productions, ToysCity, or something to attempt. I don't see it being big enough to warrant the HT treatment, much the same as Clockwork Orange. Sure there's a hardcore following, but likely not enough to warrant an ES of 1k plus.

As far as A Clockwork Orange goes, I think there is definitely the interest. The movie is 40 years old and continues to be re-discovered by each subsequent generation.

For Gilliam, I would think that a James Cole 12 Monkeys figure would be the most likely to sell, as it enjoys quite a following from Sci-fi fans Not as big a following as Blade Runner, but pretty well loved just the same.

count me in for sam lowry. brazil is an absolute masterpiece. if we are to have one figure from gilliam's films, you cant go wrong with his best.
