YES ANOTHER HULK THREAD,BUT A SPECIAL ONE....

MONTHS AGO,I WROTE THAT THE PF HULK WAS GOING TO BE ANDY'S ULTIMATE SWAN SONG TO HIS FANS....NOW THAT THE COLLECTIBLE WORLD IS IN AWE OF THIS UNIVERSALLY APPRECIATED STATUE, I ONLY WANT TO SAY TO ANDY A SPECIAL THANK YOU ....THANK YOU FOR GIVING HULK FANS THE GREATEST RENDITION OF THE CHARACTER IN STATUE FORM EVER !!!

GREY OR GREEN, I THINK NO ONE HAS SAID A BAD THING ABOUT THIS STATUE...EVEN NONE HULK FANS HAVE BOUGHT ONE.

IT IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST PIECE I HAVE EVER OWN IN MY 10 YEARS+ OF COLLECTING FIGURES.I SUGGEST TO EVERYONE WHO ARE ON THE FENCE ABOUT THIS FIGURE TO NOT HESITATE A BIT.IT IS A MASTERPIECE.

THANKS ANDY AND THANKS SIDESHOW.

I look forward to what Andy will do in the future. He is a very talented and nice guy.

Hulk PF is one hell of a way to go out. Looking forward to Emma Frost as the official swan song.

It is very sad that we won't be getting anything from Andy again, at least from SS (at least for a while). Especially when you see the Hulk PF and realize what a masterpiece it is. No matter what paint you have on it, the sculpt is still phenomenal.

Thank you Andy!!!

All these Hulk threads are driving me crazy!!!! I had to canel my order:monkey2:monkey2

One day I will own one damit!! ONE DAY!!!

I have had to cut back on my Marvel purchases, so I am not a proud owner of the marvelous Hulk--but Andy is the man responsible for so many of the great sculpts on my favorite Star Wars PFs and 12" figures. He is my favorite sculptor and I will sorely miss his work for Sideshow. He is an artist whose immense talent, great friendliness and true humility have been an asset to the Sideshow collecting community. His work is instantly recognizeable--he captures the likeness and spirit of the subject with pinpoint accuracy while retaining his unique personal creative stamp. In short, he is the greatest portrait sculptor at work in the industry today. (A fact that he will certainly deny, but we all know better.)

Andy, we salute your sculpting greatness!!!

YIKES..... I'm beyond flattered. THANKS you guys! You are all very determined to give me a superiority complex over this Hulk thing aren't you. :)

I had a blast sculpting this one... And as cliche' as it might sound, you should really be thanking Sideshow for not only producing such a kick-@ss line in the first place, but also for letting me run free on the Hulk sculpt. For a sculptor to have that kind of freedom on a job like this is not only risky, but it's also EXTREMELY rare within the industry. I don't think I've ever known another company to encourage the creativity of it's internal artists more than Sideshow does. It's a fantastic working environment and that obviously pays off in the final product. I'm sure the Gore guys will back me up on this.

Anyway, thanks again, seriously. I'm not worthy. And don't worry... I may not be currently active w/ Sideshow, but there is still a small handful of my stuff still yet to be announced, it may be another whole year or so before you officially see the 'last' of my Sideshow stuff up for order.

:peace

sadly unless somebody or you clues us in, we wont know what pieces are yours. since SS stopped crediting their sculptors. :monkey2

 Really? Why? This doesn't make any sense. Especially when some sculptors develop a fan following over the years. Like Andy. :D

Seriously, man. I love you. My girlfriend hates you. ("Andy, Andy, Andy! All you talk about is Andy this, Andy that! Why don't you just marry him!? ;) )

Alright, that's a stretch. But you've done some great stuff that's gone a long way toward making my collecting all the more thrilling.

Cheers, Andy.

Indeed, thank you Andy! However, it's now time to show the same love to the greatest character ever created.......

BATMAN!

Please do what you did with the Hulk to Batman! The current 1/4 scale Batman sculpt doesn't look to hot and that's a damn shame.

This is the Hulk statue, period.

There are some great comic book character statues out there, but none that I would actually call genuine works of art. Andy's Hulk is art. This is by far the greates piece I have ever owned, or will ever own.

Andy, your kung fu is the best. :bow

Apparently is works and they should do it more often...

Thanks Andy, I am seriously considering this one and if so it would be my only Non-SW or Non-LOTR Statue!!!
