Just got home and there was a massive box waiting for me! It was 'daddy'!

I opened him and everything was 100%! I couldn't work out were to hold him to take him out of his holdings.

As I lifted him by his chest area, this left shoulder sheild/spikes thing fell off! Luckly it fell and landed spike down in the packing foam!

It's not broken and the statue is 100% but the glue used to hold the shoulder sheild/spikes on must have weakend and it fell off. I should be able to gule it back on though.

Also, is anyone elses Sauron and bit wobbly on his base? It's almost as if he's not flush with the base... which is hard due to surface area.

Apart from that...

Just got my Sauron from Mike as well. Very happy.

My Sauron sits perfectly on the base no wobbling. Maybe you just have
to work him into the peg a bit.

The movie cards are a nice touch!!

I've not got mine either OB, got a letter from UK customs tho asking me to pay chrges for a parcel so that must be it.Once I am paid I can get it delivered.

He sent them Airmail post which takes longer than the usual quick EMS he uses but the boxes were too big so he had to use airmail which takes 1-2 weeks apparantly.

Cannae wait to get mine

Maybe you should call them, just refer to the trackingnumber in the mail from SideShow or who you got it from... I had to do this because mine hade stopped for two weeks in customs, when I called them, they wasn't sure if my items was there at all, and if they were, they shouldn't. Actually, they had forgot all about them and two days later I got them home!

I know the airmail post is much slower than the EMS he usually uses.It may be worth emailing him to see if he has the tracking number. I don't know if you get one with airmail though, but its worth a try I suppose?!.
I hope you get him soon and safely.

The customs is about £28, not too bad apart from I don't get paid until tomorrow and they do not deliver on Saturdays.So I shall have to pay tomorrow and wait until Monday for him to be delivered.
Darned weekends , oh well.

I seriously cannot wait to get him.

I finally opened him up,looks pretty good.My only complaint is that the cape isn't attached at his elbow,there is a bit of a gap.Its on the arm that he is holding out with the ring on it.I have heard other people have had the same issue with theirs.Thanks for the extras too Mike!

Thanks for the compliments on Sauron arriving well. Every Sauron I sent out to every customer who preordered one came with 1 pack of LOTR trading cards. We put them on the top of the box. They may have slid down the side so check your box. If you can't find it, let me know and I will re-send you a pack.
