There's been thankyous posted in other threads, but thought a new one just for expressing our thanks?

Thank you Sideshow for yet another generous and fun Spooktacular. Since I view these as a fun time, if I do win anything, it's just icing on the cake. Thanks especially to Dusty, Chris, Marc, and Chicky who put in countless hours in prep for these as well as during the actual event. They are (for the most part ) patient to a fault and and truly great folks to interact with. Thanks also to the SS VIPs who take the time out to join us in chat for Q&As when they can (Heath, Jared, Seth, SSBob, and apologize if I've left anyone out). I like Spook so much, I'm willing to call in sick so that I can participate with all of them. (but don't tell my boss mm'kay?)

Also, to those I got to know better in our very own chatroom. It was fun!

I did not know Sideshow existed until Spooktacular '05. Since then, I've become a full-fledged freak! Spooktacular '06 did not disappoint.

Win, lose, or draw, I think the majority of freaks had a blast this weekend chatting (and/or posting) with the peeps at Sideshow and with each-other. Very fun, creative, contests this year too!

Thank you for giving us our very own "Macworld" that we can all attend. (you mac geeks know what I mean )

Thanks to everyone at Sideshow. I cant imagine all the extra work this causes you but it was very fun. I cant belive the dedication you have to us collectors and freaks here. A special thanks to the Mistress, Chris and Dusty and all the sacrafices you made during the event. Its to bad I had to leave early today during the Chat. I snagged a few freebies. It was also great to talk to some of the Freaks that I never see post since we dont collect the same lines but are great people. I had a great time chatting with everyone and hope to see you at SDCC if you make it, I know I will be here. Enjoy whats left of your Halloween. Thanks again Sideshow.

very glad this thread was made. huge thank u to SS! what other collectible company does these kind of things or has this kind of rapport w/ it's fans. NONE.
what other company will the customer service people work really hard to make a customer happy. none that i've dealt w/. not like SS will. they have these fan events. throw freebies in our orders sometimes. just an awesome company. SIDESHOW IS TOPS IN MY BOOK!!! :chew

Thanks Sideshow, for doing what no other company is doing. Thanks for keeping collecting interesting. Thanks for taking the timeout to do something for US, the collectors. Thanks to all the individuals that worked to keep the show rolling while we were hammering down the doors!

Pay no mind to the naysayers. Was there disappointment? Sure. I myself was severly disappointed when the clue, "Fear not, a ghostly traveller approaches at great speed" wasn't a Full Size Polystone Ghost Rider on the Hell Cycle. But, surely that would be a very expensive item. So, for the ones that can't afford, or don't want to spend, the cash that it takes to purchase one of the GR maquettes, Thanks for making a GR collectible that fits those collecting habits.

We know Spooktacular isn't intended to be for MAJOR product releases; what would we do at Toy Fair and Comic-con???

So Thanks Sideshow, for giving us collectors some fun times, to go along with all the great product you make for us!
