Is anyone else watching The 100? I only started it two days ago and finished the first season. It's available on Netflix. The second season has aired but it wont be available free on Netflix till fall so I'm just going to buy it because it's so addicting that I can't wait that long to watch it. It's really, really good.

"Set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity's lone survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet."

the script is fine enough but the cast just too staged to attract young viewer for sure. wonder if they get any survival skills training; they seem not prepared

Ive watched since day one. SUCH A GREAT SHOW. Everyone should watch it. Season 2 was balls to the wall amazing. The CW has started putting out some quality shows. Shame they canceled The Tomorrow People. That was another great sic-fi show.

It's actually really really good--it starts out as a typical teenage CW show, but they end up doing some very unexpected things. And the characters that are annoying become less so as things progress.

I watched it on Netflix and the second season was released on Netflix Canada on an episode basis, the following day after it was aired on tv.

The first couple of episodes I wasn't quite sure about it. I knew a few of the actors from their time on Australian TV (Clarke, Bellamy, Anya), all of whom were in the same show Neighbours at different times.

So after a few episodes, the show went in a direction I didn't expect. It became a lot darker than I would have thought and I was pleasantly surprised with some of the storylines.

The second season gets even better and I really enjoyed the season finale. Now there's the long wait until the next season begins.

Yes, this has actually become one of the shows I look forward to the most.

To be fair, the pilot episode was not that great. Very few of the characters were immediately likable (I tried it out because Desmond from Lost was in it). But they did some pretty transparent retooling right after that to adjust and then it really grew on me quick.

I also just finished reading the 3 books upon which it is (sort-of) based. They were quick reads and somewhat interesting, but really no comparison to the show. Everything just seemed much more watered-down and revolved around too much of the teen-shipper crap that Twilight has blessed us with. Part of the advantage of the show is that you don't have to endure the inner thoughts and feelings of these teen characters (same thing with Hunger Games book vs movie).

Checked it out on Netflix a while back and really enjoyed it. I'm about half way through s2 so far. I'm not finding many characters annoying, the only thing from the plot that annoys me is how the grounders act like the newbs are the aggressors- other than that its a pretty good end of the world show

I actually liked the pilot and knew I was going to stick it out. Season 1 was awesome and I never buy a season of something if I know it will be on Netflix at some point. However, I bought it anyway yesterday and got through 9 episodes. Finishing the remainder today. I'm honestly really digging it. Octavia is my #1, especially when wielding a sword.

She and Lincoln and Kane are my favorite.

uh, so like they're gonna kill each other all over again, like they're heading toward nuclear war again?

My issue with it is how healthy and prettied up they all look, if they are all people trying to make it in a world that's come to this. Also comes off too Hollywood generic and formulaic for me.

But I can understand why some would be interested in it. Survivor-isque stories are fun.

That was one of the things I noted at the beginning---everyone has fantastic hair and makeup while their either prisoners or at the very least in a situation where makeup is going to be hard or impossible to come by.

That doesn't last though, they get dirtied up really quick and things seem more realistic. There's still a few nitpicks here and there but not serious issues.

I thought it was good, second season follows well and there is another season. I think there will be a 4th too

Worth watching them all to really give it an honest review

I didn't mind Octavia in the first season, but she's such a try hard in the second season, I just can't take her seriously.

I could not take this show seriously. The Science is bad, the characters annoying.

But I have friends and a younger sibling who swear by it.

I only have 3 episodes left. Boo to that I say.

I'm glad the actors are wearing makeup. I like when they look pretty. However, they get dirty, bloody and messy so it's not like they are running around the forest all clean and tidy.

while the series does have its holes for sure, I have enjoyed it to this point. The season finale was well worth waiting for and to be honest it was quite shocking.....Didn't think it would go that far...

I hoped it would go that far. I am tired of shows playing it safe. Time to step it up. Finale was great but I feel like
Clarke's exit felt forced. I didn't really buy it.
