So on the computer as Oscorp we see they have access to Ravencroft.

I'm guessing Electros captured after Time Square and taken to Ravencroft where Oscorp will get a hold of him and give him the suit that allows him to transform into pure energy.

Rhino seems to have no connection to Oscorp however since the Mech suit has Russian markings. Perhaps like Electro, he'll be taken from Ravencroft by Oscorp and experimented on causing a full on mutant Rhino.

I also suspect Harry will be the Flying Goblin that is most known and after unsuspectedly being defeated by Spiderman, Norman will become the full on roid rage Hulk Ultimate Goblin that shoots fire from his hands in the sequel. I don't think they'll do a Glider version twice.

On top of that, you have the Venom file on the computer and the fact that Richard was working on something so secret they tryed to kill him, likely the alien symbiote that they already have.

Plus we see Ock and Vulture's stuff, a referance to Australia on the Oscorp computer that could be a referance to Kraven, a referance to Dr. Morbius and whoever the guy in the trench/hat is from the end of 1 and lab in the trailer. They sure are setting up a ton of bad guys.

Which is both cool, and scary. Too many villains is what ruined SM3.

Too many villain worries are annoying, Spiderman 3 would have sucked with only one villain. Watched the trailer again, and I am getting excited, but will remain skeptical.

Not at all, Topher Grace being casted as him was terrible even if the script was good or not, Topher would have never been able to do the character justice, the acting was absolutely terrible from everyone, Uncle Ben’s murder, the cheese was unbearable. Do people care about good acting in superhero films anymore?

Yeah, I think its pretty obvious they are setting up the Sinister Six at this point. The question is just which six? Since there appears to be no sign of Mysterio or Sandman at this point, the original line up seems to not be in the cards. The Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon had: Rhino, Electro, Lizard, Doc Ock, Kraven, and Beetle/Scorpion. That looks a lot like what we're seeing so far. Beetle/Scorpion could easily be replaced by Vulture (an original line up member).

As long as the story is there, the Sinister Six could be the coolest thing in a superhero movie since the Avengers.

Here's something else I noticed.










You can see the floor detail and lower lights as those bay doors open match meaning there are potentially 5+ more glass cases housing other Oscorp tech. That's probably why revealing 2 in the trailer wasn't a huge deal. I'm thinking maybe a Scorpion tail like Ock's tentacle and a Beetle flight suit, maybe the Goblin Suit/Glider in another.

So after having it settle in i really like what i'm seeing so far.

Dane as Harry. (big one for me)
Suit. (it's just gorgeous)
Action.
Spider movements/quips.

I gotta say the only thing i'm not sold on so far is Electro. I like Jamie's nerdy janitor type guy that's not the problem, I wonder about him as Electro himself. We shall see. Otherwise all looks good....So far!

I'm already going to like Harry/Hobgoblin or whatever.(perfect casting IMO) And the Rhino looks fun.(i see a lot of Spider-smart-assness here) But if i can like all 3 baddies, unlike the boring (to me at least) Lizard of ASM i'll be in for a treat!

So this shaggy haired fellow with the hat, we speculated further as to who he is?

I dunno why but I get the impression that he could be the Tinkerer, perhaps he developed most of the tech for Oscorp

Either that or he's the chameleon, he could be very dangerous and creepy if done right

I'm not happy about Dahaan as Goblin, but I have to say, those scenes in the trailer that appear to be in the Oscorp offices make him look very sinister

Speaking of sinister, even though it's a given, has anyone noticed that the containers are numbered up to six?

I just hope he doesn't kill Gwen

Gwen's death is an integral part of the relationship between GG and Pete, it's one of the most important events in the characters history, up there with Uncle Bens death

And equally important is that when Gwen does die, the question of exactly who killed her should be prevalent

If they miss that then they screwed up big time.
