Oh, I don't know about that. You would still have Wayne in the movie, as a mentor to McGinnis. And it's the bat suit that they'll be drawn to, with Wayne just as an 'anchor' to the past. I think audiences could handle it.

I agree to a certain extent, but I think some may feel it would be a refreshing 'break' from the norm and may attract a newer, broader audience.

I think a Nightwing movie would be more along the lines of that. It may not/won't make as much as the big two listed here, but Nightwing has significant similarities to both of them.

Some of those ideas wouldn't translate well in live action - let alone the stories.

Besides - the general population of movie goers don't want their Batman ****ed with too much.
