I forgot about Unbreakable..my fave M. Night film...easily Nolan type film...but you liked BB just not the progression... ...I wish I could answer as to why from your above statement...But does any directer really do it for the "core fan" group?...I'm gonna say a big no to that one in regards to the vast majority of Hollywood...

Batman Begins is, to date, my favorite Batman film. It makes the progression into what we got that much more a "WTF?!" Especially since Begins showed how good you can embrace a comic book character and aspects of their origin and put them on the big screen to achieve both critical, and fanboy success. As for the "core fan" group, Marvel's been proving left and right that it works, so honestly, WB has zero excuse.

:exactly:
Batman willfully quitting, twice, and finally running off to Italy with Selina and leaving the cowl to Detective Blake, Bane being a midget and needing a face-thong inhaler after apparently being face-raped by inmates, Joker completely erased from existence, Gordon being a complete imbecile, soooooo many nods to the comics. :cuckoo:

I guess you must have blinked in between those parts then?...again many of those things you mentioned sound very relatable to most humans...I supposed a CGI Bane coulda been done...Joker erased maybe because of HL's death...again.."Batman shoulda been done my way" mentality...cmon man...I'm not saying it was perfect(although BB and TDK was a close as could be)...but cmon...

The joker mention is one of my biggest dissapointments with Nolan.
"THE SHOW MUST GO ON" seems to be forgotten by some people.
Joker should have been Recast. Pretty sure he ( Ledger ) would have wanted it that way.

Marvel Studios interconnected Avengers universe films.

Wish they had Joker in TDKR myself and was my biggest dissapointment too in TDKR
Well someone had to do it first and Marvel won...we will see what DC does...If DC did it first, everything would be reversed IMHO...I am nonetheless still excited about the future DC films...Holy shoot I just realised this is the Spiderman thread LOL

wait, I'm confused. Are you 'exactly' -ing your own post?

Cuz you can't do that!!!!!!

Just did and :moon.

Spidey is a complete ********* to the cop in that scene despite the fact that his actions were illegal. He also furthers the douchery later as Peter, when being a smartass to Stacy over the deal...despite clearly being in the wrong and completely botching the investigation. :lol

I see your :moon and I raise you :nana:

To be fair, Spidey didn't know that it was a set up, and the cop did fire upon him, I don't even remember him being all too threatening to him to warrant him opening fire.

All Spidey did was take his gun, I'd have done the same thing.

Cop was justified when Spidey failed to not only stop but advanced toward him. And you'd have likely been shot the minute you'd made a move for him, and arrested and charged with assaulting an officer, interfering with an investigation as well as potentially aiding and abetting depending on how difficult you made the arrest and how much of a **** you were afterwards.

Not if I was Spider-man I wouldn't

You think I'd do that as a regular guy, come on! I'm not completely stupid. Just a wittle

Spidey had no weapon or made any threatening movies toward the cop or the car thief. He had no justification for firing, he could've easily killed the car thief who was right behind Spidey, it was recklessness.

Because webbing up a felon, dressed like a bug while making gestures toward a cop isn't the least bit threatening. You should try actually living in Manhattan, so you understand how it is there, before you make such dumb posts. :lol
