Nah we need JJJ. He's essential to the spiderman lore. He's a very important character as he is the one responsible for the city turning on spidey.

Yea I’m tired of the spiderman chants the city should hate him.

Yea thats one thing I hated about spidey 3. Spiderman is supposed to be unappreciated to the new yorkers. One side loves him and the other hates him. He doesn't save people for there admiration but because he feels its his responsibility to help those in need. They need to give Peter/Spidey some humility first. Otherwise I don't think he'd really care about being demonized in the public as this version really doesn't give a **** beyond his personal wants/needs. One of the reasons why I think Gwen's death is a good idea.

I don't think this Peter is Spider-Man for the glory, he just happens to have fun as Spider-Man.

However, with the people liking him, it'd make for a good setup for JJJ to turn people against who he believes to be a masked menace.

And currently withut JJJ to tell the people that he's a menace it makes sense for the people to appreciate him, he's out there saving people afterall
